in which Savva tries to cope with what the Liberal party has done, is doing and will keep on doing to the country ...

It's not possible to keep up with the memes ... the pond tossed and turned. After all, Covfefe was last night's meme ... today there's others to celebrate...

No doubt there were women in the audience, and possibly one on stage, but aren't all those squillions worth the fatuous tripe Hywood can produce?

Meanwhile, the increasingly irrelevant and psychotically attention-seeking narcissist onion muncher has been out and about in the Terror.

It takes awesome skill to make Barners sound sensible and moderate, but the onion muncher managed that feat effortlessly, with his talk of special terror courts and pussy-footing and the only good jihadist being a dead jihadist ...

All this is pretty rich from a Catholic fundamentalist bigot and preacher of hate, who incidentally himself was a member of a war criminal cabinet that embarked on an adventure in the middle east which resulted in thousands dead and millions displaced.

This is the loon that gets agitated when homosexuals hover into view, but the literalist fundamentalist Catholic bigot provided the pond with one excellent laugh ...

It’s in the Koran, which too many people take literally. We pussyfoot around the fact many passages of the Muslim holy book command things that are completely incompatible with modern Western life, and even justify terrorism. Of course, there are some pretty bloodcurdling passages in the Bible, too, but there are popes, archbishops and moderators-general to tell us how it should be interpreted to suit the modern world.

Yeah? Tell that to the Adam and Eve, camel-herder loving literalists who get agitated about gay marriage. Oh wait, that'd mean the literalist onion muncher would have to have a go at himself ...

Or has he now gone full-blown relativist, and everything can now be interpreted to suit the modern world.

Talk about fatuous tripe.

Of course the real target isn't the Islamics ... they're collateral damage in the central mission of taking down Malware ...

I can understand the thinking behind the Iftar dinner at Kirribilli House last year but its practical impact was to give hardliners a status denied to integrated Muslims, let alone leaders of others faiths.

Strangely, the onion muncher's piece had only managed twenty comments by lunch time ...could it be that the hate speech lovers have moved on to cleaner coal pastures?

The pond couldn't be bothered wasting time on the onion muncher, now down in tabloid territory with Mark "arm-breaker" Latham where he belongs ...

Instead there was the certain charm and appeal of ongoing sounds of a soothing Savva, attempting to sound mainstream and centrist ...

Undecided about this sort of approach to an Oz column, the reptiles gave her a couple of different splashes ...

Then it turned into a kind of pox on both their houses splash...

Surely there was an echo of the onion-muncher in this opening Savva salvo about people so addicted to fighting ...

Here's the pond's problem with the soothing sounds of Savva. You see, Malware spent years fucking up the NBN at the behest of the onion muncher.

He might have done it out of ignorance, but the pond is inclined to think it was more likely to have been done as a combination of ignorance, malice, and dreams of power ...

After all, once Malware has had his time in the sun, why should he care about the repair bill the nation faces in the decades down the track, as the business of fixing the copper monstrosity comes home to roost?

It's too late to indulge in hand-wringing and an incipient sense of hysteria and impending doom ... the damage has been done ...

...and it's too late to hold up the spectre of extremists.

Right at this moment, the broad church of the Liberal party features the onion muncher, out and about on a weekly basis spreading mayhem and nastiness ...

The government has made it an offence to travel to designated terrorist zones, without lawful cause. We need to ensure every returning jihadi can readily be charged and convicted, possibly through the creation of special courts that can hear evidence that may not normally be admissible.

The onion muncher reinvents the kangaroo court ...

But for years, Malware facilitated the onion-muncher's government, played a role in it, and now we're expected to pay attention to Savva deploring of current behaviour in politics?

Too little, too late ... and too predictable, because Quadrant is the HQ for the 'bring Abbott back' movement. Again it's all proxies, with the real targets obvious enough ...

Say what? The proponents of "clean coal" and the copper NBN are now whimpering about those engaged in political and cultural warfare? Suddenly Barners and the mutton Dutton are centrists, and we should deplore the onion muncher?

It's the classic even-handed wimpiness and pussy-footing of the Malware mob. Joyce shouldn't cop a pie, but can cop a verbal pie from Court, and Court shouldn't be abused ... as if calling someone a fundamentalist bigot is some kind of abuse, when it's just trying to be ethnographically accurate ...

Speaking of gung ho bigots ...

Islamist terrorists think that killing innocent people is virtuous and that their own death is martyrdom.
So the first thing that needs to change is restriction on police powers to “shoot to kill”.
Anything that hinders police’s ability to neutralise a terrorist puts innocent people at even greater risk.

If the Malware mob were serious about it, instead of sending out pleading messages spruiking tolerance, they'd neutralise the onion muncher, take him out, and throw him away ... and while they're at it, spike Adani, rein in the mutton Dutton, and apologise for the NBN ...

Oh okay, it's just a dream ... and as for the rest, at least there's a Rowe to admire ... with more Rowe here ...

And now a personal note for anyone who's made it here and has absolutely nothing to do ... though clicking on a Malware press release is a more exciting option ...

Of late the pond has been missing its conversations with Indian callers about corruption and gambling in Indian cricket. Sadly with various changes to the domestic set-up, the pond's phone number dropped off the Indian call list ... so it was with immense delight that the pond received this communication by email (some details omitted just for safety's sake).

It was the starting with "God Day" that made the pond think the heartfelt message should be included on the pond. That, and the fact that there is a real Miles Rees, who has been cruelly impersonated and defamed ...

As for the rest, it's a model of stupidity, and the sort of half-baked attempt at formal English which is a feature of all these scams ...

God day, it made the pond's day ... no doubt the onion muncher is already plotting to take the scammer out, or at the very least send him to a kangaroo court ...

  1. Savva: "Tanya Plibersek perverting facts ... claiming thousands of Catholic schools would be worse off ..."

Frank Brennan: "The Shadow Minister Tanya Plibersek says the model ‘cannot be sector blind when it entrenches different funding levels for government and non-government schools, and it cannot be needs based when thousands of public schools and parish Catholic schools lose funding and some of the wealthiest schools in the country get a funding increase.’"

Hmmm. Thousands of public schools and parish Catholic schools. I wonder where Nikki got her "alternative" rendition from ? Or would she like to call Frank Brennan an "Alternative facts" person ?

Savva: "Plibersek inadvertently made the case for improving numeracy"

And Nikki may just have made the case for improving lteracy and maybe having some fact checking and basic attention to detail in reporting.

Or, as the reptiles would have it, just another example of the social media wittering that's best left to....errr, to the reptiles themselves!
